Please Recommend RPG games (preferably consoles ones) with multiple endings and also a recruitment system whereby other side characters can be recruited to join the party (e.g. Suikoden, Final Fantasy Tactics)|||I wish you would've listed what consoles you own, but I'll list a few for the PS2.
Radiata Stories. It has 2 different endings, and over 170 characters you can recruit.
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. It has a total of 8 different endings, depending on your relationship with your party members. There are 2 character slots open, and 4 characters you can choose from to fill these openings.
Dragon Quest VIII has 2 different endings, you have to complete a bit more after the original ending to unlock the bonus ending. It's definitely worth it though, I loved the 2nd ending. (No extra recruitable characters, though.)|||Mass Effect has multiple endings and has a recruitment system where you can have two of your allies aid you in battle (you have six to choose from each with different talents). It has a really good story too. Its an action RPG that uses guns so I don't know if that will put you off.
Its available on Xbox 360 and PC and its one of my all time favorite games.
